La consolation n\u2019est pas une recherche de solution, elle est fragile et incertaine, elle n\u2019est ni invigoration ni r\u00e9paration magique, elle t\u00e2tonne avec tendresse et humilit\u00e9, car celui qui console ne le fait pas au nom d\u2019un savoir ou d\u2019une exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 laquelle il faudrait se soumettre mais au nom de la fraternit\u00e9 ou de l\u2019amour. La philosophie peut-elle alors \u00eatre consolatrice ? Ne cherche-t-elle pas, avant tout, \u00e0 regarder avec lucidit\u00e9 le r\u00e9el tel qu\u2019il est ?<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><br><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tc1\/1\/16\/1f50d.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd0d\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\"><\/span> Alors que la philosophie des Anciens consolait du pr\u00e9sent par la r\u00e9miniscence des ordres originels (nature, communaut\u00e9, logos) celle des Modernes, qui s\u2019oriente vers le futur par la volont\u00e9 de conna\u00eetre un avenir incertain, renonce alors \u00e0 satisfaire le besoin de consolation qu\u2019elle abandonne au religieux ou \u00e0 la psychologie. Elle consid\u00e8re que son r\u00f4le est de rechercher la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 et se m\u00e9fie de la consolation. Elle y voit un baume qui rend notre vie mensong\u00e8rement supportable.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><br><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"x3nfvp2 x1j61x8r x1fcty0u xdj266r xhhsvwb xat24cr xgzva0m xxymvpz xlup9mm x1kky2od\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t4c\/1\/16\/2753.png\" alt=\"\u2753\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\"><\/span>Pour le philosophe Michael Foessel, si la philosophie n\u2019a plus pour r\u00f4le de consoler, penser la consolation permet cependant de consid\u00e9rer la dimension intime (la perte d&#8217;un proche) et politique (la perte d&#8217;un id\u00e9al, d&#8217;une esp\u00e9rance collective) de la perte. Penser la consolation c\u2019est alors mettre en relief la force subversive du chagrin : il est une remise en question de ce qui est (Pourquoi moi? Pourquoi ce monde?
