Si j\u2019ai pens\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019ouvrage de Laure Adler, \u00ab les femmes qui lisent sont dangereuses \u00bb, je me suis demand\u00e9, plus largement, d\u2019o\u00f9 provient ce d\u00e9sir ardent de lire, de s\u2019emparer d\u2019un ouvrage et d\u2019y plonger tout entier.e.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Est-ce pour \u00e9chapper au chagrin trop \u00e9crasant, aux amours qui s\u2019effilochent, aux trajets dans des trains bond\u00e9s, aux professeurs humiliants, aux dimanches sans fin, \u00e0 l\u2019ennui ravageur ? Lire prot\u00e8ge des portes qui claquent, des mots dits trop fort, des diners convenus, de l\u2019esprit de s\u00e9rieux. On lit pour s\u2019oublier, s\u2019enfuir dans les mots des autres, disparaitre dans d\u2019autres vies, effacer ses propres contours, le livre, c&#8217;est se projeter dans l&#8217;autre, fuir les al\u00e9as de sa vie, y trouver du sens, plus tard, ailleurs.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Que se passe-t-il alors lorsque lire devient impossible alors m\u00eame que les livres sont concr\u00e8tement disponibles ? Comment faire quand les ouvrages deviennent, pour le lecteur, inaccessibles, comme sous scell\u00e9s ? Nous vivons parfois des \u00e9preuves qui engloutissent avec elle le sens que font les mots quand ils s\u2019assemblent. Les mots flottent comme des poussi\u00e8res dans l\u2019air et l\u2019on ne peut se raccrocher \u00e0 aucun livre, flottant nous aussi dans un univers \u00e9trange en-de\u00e7\u00e0 du langage. A la douleur v\u00e9cue, s\u2019ajoute celle de perdre son refuge.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">J\u2019ai r\u00e9cemment lu un article qui disait que, depuis le d\u00e9but de la crise sanitaire, certaines personnes, notamment les jeunes, sont dans l&#8217;incapacit\u00e9 \u00e0 lire pour le plaisir ce qui constitue pour eux une v\u00e9ritable souffrance. Michel de Certeau d\u00e9crit bien comment le livre n\u2019est jamais en fait que la construction de la personne qui le lit.
